I prefer winter and fall, when you feel the bone structure of the landscape - the loneliness of it, the dead feeling of winter. Something waits beneath it, the whole story doesn't show.
I live very close to the Wyeth museum. In fact, Mike and I are members. Not only is the museum beautiful, but the grounds surrounding it are lovely for walking.
I hope your family enjoys the muffins. I think perhaps you became a follower of my blog just as I was preparing to leave for Peru, so I wanted to thank you for following and to say how much I have enjoyed scooting around your lovely blog. It's beautifully done, and I look forward to reading future posts.
What a lovely picture and so appropriate for this unusually harsh winter. I am an admirer of all of the Wyeths and have visited the beautiful museum it was a lovely experience. Hope spring finds you soon.(-:
